The Story behind KaGie’s

Hello 2026 and hello rebrand!!!! This has been in the works for a long time and I am so happy to finally put it all into action! What better way to start a rebrand than with a story bringing you behind the scenes and up to speed on what and who KaGie’s is.
Where did KaGie come from?
Growing up I danced ballet and one of my best friends came up with this cute nickname when another Katie entered the class. We decided to go by our initials to alliviate any confusion on which Katie was needed. Insert KaGie… a combination of my first name and maiden last name. A dance nickname that after 13 years of use I couldn’t let it go. When I opened this business years later, I knew the perfect name to use for the brand was KaGie.
Why the rebrand?
I have been in business now for 6 years and I felt like The Art of KaGie needed a spruce up. I’m not the same 18 year old who started this, now at 24 I wanted something that was more of a reflection of what the business is today and will be. Shortening it to KaGie’s rolls of the tongue more, and the colors represent the bright and colorful things ahead!
Have you always sold stationery?
No! I actually started with selling needle felt art and hand-lettered prints on Etsy. I did this for a year and then transitioned into stationery!
Where did the wildflower love come from?
When I was a little girl, I used to walk the fields of my grandpa's land picking wildflowers. He had a silly way of saying the word that still brings a smile to my face. He has since passed away, but with every flower I draw it’s a little piece of him with me.
