Day Trip to Garvan Gardens

Road trip road trip!! Last weekend my mom and I went on a day trip to Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, AR. Let me tell you, it was such a fun day. It felt so good to (safely) get out of NWA for a little bit, for the first time in what felt like forever.

Once we got there, we were so overwhelmed. It was both my mom and I's first time there, and it was so much bigger than we expected. Which was great!

Pro tip:

Park in the overflow parking, it is way easier to get in and out of the parking lot!

We got in and instantly went to the left to go find the waterfalls. The trails go on and on inside the garden and lead to more waterfalls, trees, and flowers.

The main reason my mom and I went to this beautiful botanical garden was for the tulips, and they did NOT disappoint! There is rows and rows of tulips. All different colors, shapes, and style! The details are insane and I was in awe the whole walk.

After the tulips we walked back to the front of the garden and got in line to each lunch at Chipmunk Café.

A quick trip through the gift shop and then we were on our way back home! I got local to Garvan Gardens honey (How delicious!) and a locally made in Arkansas candle. I can't wait to use both!

I definitely recommend going to Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs! When the summer weather comes, the tulips might not be there, but there is still so much to see and look at! Plan to be there for a few hours and make sure to stop by the café for a bite to eat before 3pm when they close.

XOXO,
